Summary

This research was born out of the concern personal and academic with respect to the development of the experience of urban spaces theatre of San Jose , the implication of the development of theatre in the theatrical architecture and the relationship of the theatres with the urban environment. In the central part of San Jose, area bounded to the inside of the ring road, there are 19 independent theatres and 5 theatres that belong to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport. Although the amount of spaces for the Art of the Theatre is significant, its readability as a set of Theatres is not recognized by the inhabitants of San José. From 1928 when construction began on the Melico Salazar Theater, to date, in the panorama Josefino have not appeared in another piece of architecture that hosts plays and responds to changes in the development of the theatre. However, from the decade of the seventies in San Jose, a series of small theatres, independent works of nature comercial1 . This emergence of independent theatres and commercial works have a close relationship with the experience of costa rica and appropriation of spaces random for the development of the theatre, which responds to contemporary theories of the theatre. Users from the centre of San Jose, as well as its inhabitants; they are looking for cultural activities, outdoor activities. The evidence of this is the amount of existing spaces and the variety of works. But the lack of spaces complementary as well as the desunificación between these places of encounter affect the development of this search. Create a favorable environment for an experience urban is paramount and as a user, what's important, is to have an environment comforting and fun to the experience urban is interesting, safe and stimulating. To achieve this it is necessary to know the space theatre of costa rica and their behavior, to know the urban environment josefino, boost readability activities and the architectural gesture, and create the conditions for urban development that will encourage this readability, so the theatre is a significant activity in the central part and in the experience of urban Josephine.

Summary

In the last years of the TWENTIETH century, began to establish the policies of modernisation to the public transport, due to the rapid development to be had in the Great Metropolitan Area. As of today, we have implemented only a small part of these policies, with the result that the public transport suffers currently from elements very aggressive in order to provide a good service, such as road congestion, caused by the massive increase in the vehicle fleet private, a downgrade in the operating system, which produces a superposition of service routes in common corridors and lack of an adequate infrastructure. This leads to increases in travel time and a perception too negative of an industry so important to the city, as is the public transport. Given the necessity of the implementation of the guidelines stipulated in the Decree No. 28337-MOPT, the dealers in the Sector East of San José, which comprises the districts of Montes de Oca, Curridabat and The Union, together with the aim to enforce the decree. They form the Integrated Transport System of This SITE). This work is based on the proposal of the most important component of the master plan of the SITE, which is the site of the group's business and the design of the main terminal of the sector, which is an intermodal and is located in Alto de Ochomogo. This, in addition to facilitating operational activities, both basic and supplementary, seeks to promote urban mobility efficient, based on the concepts of modernization.

Summary

This project arises due to the need of the School of Music of SINEM de Oreamuno Cartago to have its own facilities . With which to solve the problem of quality and quantity of learning spaces and an exhibition of the musical arts . It presents the architectural proposal of the school of music of SINEM de Oreamuno Cartago . Within which are taken into account learning spaces as workshops and studies of individual practice, as well as an auditorium for 489 people, in addition to several spaces, administrative, and utilities, among others . The proposal is presented within the framework of the city's civic projected by the municipality of the canton, which involves the design of the urban environment around the school and its interaction with the other buildings . Furthermore, he made a study of the aspects that correspond to the development of architectural acoustics, and the development of spaces for learning and musical exposure, both internal and external . So that also was a practical assessment of the main acoustic spaces using the tables of Bolt and the calculation of the reverberation time of these .
