Summary
In the presence of entities such as the UCR and the disclosure of their achievements for the costa rican society, the community of San Ignacio de acosta, went to the Unity of Architecture of the University of Costa Rica, asking for help to build a Home for the elderly of the community. As background: – Already have a Home for the elderly but can't keep up. -Investigate that it is an institution as such, the requirements that are needed at the level of knowledge -to Inquire about the user, in this case are the Elderly People of the community. -According to the first-hand information and the knowledge base, intellectual, adonado to the ability to solve a project of this caliber, given the theoretical foundations and practices that has given me the School of Architecture throughout the race, I welcome you to study more deeply the Geronto-architecture. -The Universal design and Architecture for all these concepts are treated to the global and national level, so that their premises are completely valid to apply to what will be the next research paper and design. -You need to know about what is permissible and regulatory design for older people. The Justification on the need of a Shelter or new home for the community of Acosta, given as a premise, the formulation of a building that has all the comforts and amenities that the planning and architectural can provide. This building, implanted in the batch that the community Association gave way to the development of the project, with solvency and the application of all the theory explained throughout this document, this being at the same time, not only a reason to raise awareness about human needs, but rather, a possibility to the goal of creating this home for older adults from the perspective of the Geronto-architecture.
